We got a whim to buy a tree for the backyard so we convinced our neighbor to go to the nursery with us today so we could use their pickup! Cade liked the orange circle Richard painted in the grass to mark the spot for the tree.

There's our new tree! We're hoping it will provide some shade for those of you that don't enjoy the sun as much as me!
The kids are already enjoying popsicles in the shade of the tree.

It will be fun to see the tree and the children grow over the years... Could be a fun photo opportunity to measure the passing years. :)
