We went to the Spokane Indians baseball game last Friday (they had a University of Idaho alumni function). We sat in the grotto section which is way in outfield but you can potentially catch a homerun. They upgraded the stadium this year, so they added Otto's jump castle and batting cages for the kids by the grotto. Here are some pictures of the kids enjoying the batting cages. They were a little overwhelmed by all the kids in the jump castle so no pictures of that one. They did get Otto's autograph. FYI - Otto the mascot is a Spokane-asaurus.

The new back deck
Scarface
Cade tripped at school and landed on his face on the sidewalk (apparently he doesn't know how to catch his fall with his hands). His sunglasses split open his eye right below the eyebrow and gave him a nice bruise below his eye too. The doctor at Urgent Care tried to put stitches in twice but Cade was fighting too much so he sent us to the ER so he could be sedated. After lots of waiting, the medicine made Cade a little loopy but not at all drowsy like they were hoping. It took three nurses and Richard to hold him down while the doctor was finally able to give him 6 stitches. The whole ordeal took five hours!! If you remember and can see in the picture, he had stitches a couple years ago from wrecking on his bicycle and his sunglasses splitting the same eyebrow. That scar is smaller, toward the bridge of his nose. We keep telling him that girls like scars!

More Riverfront Park
Cade was surrounded by more seagulls than ducks and the geese were not shy, either!
Taking a break from all the playing!
I am just amazed at how well the soapwart is growing this year!
Riverfront Park
Of course we had to ride the carousel....
And check out the river! It is quite a sight right now. We got wet on the suspension bridge!
